Braggadoon Signs & Graphics was founded in March, 2005, by Alan and Betsy Ferguson and its name is an idealistic reinterpetation of the play and movie "Brigadoon", that may apply to our very special place in Mendocino County, and as an alternative to the name Fort Bragg with which we are too often confused with the east coast.
Alan is a graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, with a BFA in both Photography and Graphic Design. Over the years, he has earned professional recognition in both fields, and has worked freelance in the fields of photography, design, marketing and interior design as well. All these talents are put to use making effective signage which meets the challenge of businesses from out-of-the-home to Main Street. Alan’s unique talent for problem solving, with creative marketing solutions for each customer, equates to both appealing and affordable signage.
As an artist and technician, Alan produces imagery and art reproductions that reflects a quality that only an attention to detail and years of experience in image reproduction can produce. Artists trust their art is handled with care and made into reproductions that reflects the artists' intent.
